2013/04 Bubleology meetup in Ceske Budejovice

The history long gone, by now in 2016, and another back in time post.

In 2013, my city had an active j-fashion community, similarly as a few other cities in our state. It is great to be able to chat about the fashion with like-minded people without having to travel several hours first. This was another of our casual meetups.

The only meetup photo we really got. We visited a monastery garden for a photoshoot, and lots of awesome photos were taken, but the photographer lost them all aside this one in low resolution. That just strenghtened my resolve to get my own camera and learn a bit of photography! At the moment I'm taking photos with a GPS, haha!

We went to get some bubble tea. We have Bubbleology bubble tea, which make it feel and look like a fancy chemistry class! Yay for chemistry nerds! Bubble tea is kind of like an ice tea, it can be flavored and even with milk, and with flavored jelly pearls floating inside.

My favorite part of the outfits was the decora accessories! A speck of pastels in otherwise classic and gothic community and a bright personality to match it!

2013/02 Brewery meetup in Pilsen

I decided to get to know fellow Czech lolita fashion enthusiasts this year, and jumped right on the chance to get to Pilsen meetup in February! The meetup in Pilsen was organized by Venea. We tried to do a jumping group photo but failed miserably! Everyone had different reaction time so our group jumping looked more like a gang of fleeing rabbits and this is the only decent photo we managed! How do you get people to jump at the exact same moment anyway?

Favorite outfits of the day. Left is RabbitHeart in a handmade JSK. I swear it looks like
Innocent World made it, its gorgeous! Right is Venea in a real Innocent World dress.

This is what you do when your only meetup photo has a snowflake
falling in front of your face! Argh.

Undoubtfully the best photo I took that day. Simply gorgeous.

Since Pilsen is renowned for its beer production, we went to a guided tour into a brewery. They are very well prepared to handle visitors. We saw a visitor center with infographics hanging everywhere, an exhibition showing a step by step how the beer is produced, walked through the factory itself and also through the storage cellars with kegs of beer, concluding the tour with tasting of an unfiltered beer. Wheew! Most of the places were poorly lit though, so we could take little photos to remember the tour by. Here is some!

The real packaging line.
Watching the mesmerizing tangle of tubes and cables in awe.
Huge copper containers in which the beer is brewed.
Entering the underground storage cellars.
The cellars incorporate kilometers of passageways.
Finally, the beer degustation!

Twinkle Constellation and the Stars of Confeito

I didnt even dare to dream about this but I managed to got one of my dream prints! The Twinkle Constellation and the Stars of Confeito was released in 2012 by Baby, the Stars Shine Bright and the navy JSK was one of my first dream dresses ever.

The few times Ive seen the print on auctions, I always talked myself into not buying it. You know how it goes, 'its too expensive', 'the bow at the front is too big', 'I already have several navy dresses', 'I'll wait for the better colorway', ect. In meanwhile, I amassed a few other stellar dresses (Dreamy Horoscope, Cosmic) and a bunch of star themed accessories, so when I saw the navy skirt for auction (inside EU, too!), I jumped for it!

The skirt has fully flexible waist, and although the fabric is quite thin compared to my other Baby pieces, it is good quality instead of the stiff, wrinkly material I know from some of Bodyline products. And the golden color used in the print sparkles! I can combine it with navy, pink, sax, or even white, dress it up or dress it down, so Ive a good dozen more different coordinates already with my wardrobe just by getting this one piece!

Two sample coordinates with the skirt ♡
Casual and Meetup ready!

Skirt: Twinkle Constellation and the Stars of Confeito
Blouse: Left: AP cutsew; Right: Bodyline
            Shoes: An*Tai*Na
Accessories: Offbrand, side the right navy bow from BtSSB.

I guess I mayyyyy have overdid it with the hair accessories on the right picture. Or maybe it would look better with twin tails =^.^=

I used these accessories for my hands. The wristcuffs are custom made from back when EGL Comm Sales was still a thing, but it would be great to also have the OTKs and similar styled jewelry to the series!
