2017-05 Tiny meetup in a tea shop

Mitsu visited our city so all the lolitas (numbered two) gathered to meet her ^.^ We met in a tea shop. The weather was on our side so we could sit in their garden under blooming wisterias! We had tea, of course, and sahlep, which is a warm, sweet milky drink made from tubers of an orchid (or so wikipedia says.. but its delicious!). We had some great time chatting together.

Dress: BtSSB Tartan JSK
Blouse: Anna House
Shoes: Bodyline

The bracelet was a gift from Mitsu and the bow in my hair was a gift from Ruki.
I've such wonderful friends ♥

Late LBC: If I had a lolita cafe

When I came across this theme I knew I have to describe my idea of a perfect cafe! My lolita friendly cafe would feature pastel colors combined with navy and astronomical themes.

The walls would go from pink close to the floor through sax on the walls and navy on the ceiling. The floor would be cotton candy pink and the navy ceiling would have lights shaped like Moon and planets, with little spot lights in between to symbolize stars.

There would be star shaped pastel baloons tied at several places for decoration and shelves shaped like clouds on the walls displaying pastel plushies. The furniture would be pink and white and the chairs would be cushioned for comfort and part of the cafe could be 'walled off' by a short, white decorative fence so a group which had reservation didn't have to mingle with the random visitors if they wished so.

There would be sofa with decorative boxes and toys in pastel colors beside it to take sweetest photos on, and a few full lenght mirrors. The cafe would serve sweets and various fruits, tea and colorful fruit coctails and iced tea. High tea would be possible to order too and a part of the wall would be dedicated to visitors leaving behind their polaroids for all to enjoy.

What would be your dream cafe like?

Angelic Pretty Fancy Box JSK dreamdress!

I loved this print for very long time, with the cute bears and rabbits, in the blue variant. Wonderfully blue, unlike any blue I had seen before. Deeper blue than the azure sky, yet lighted than navy. I knew the distinct shade of blue will be hard to match with anything else, but still I was on the hunt for the dress since last May.

I wanted to get the Shoulder Frill cut, with cute blue heart cutouts along the lower hem and frilled shoulder straps, but when I saw the JSK for sale for a good price I was unable to resist! Of course I had to try the dress out as soon as it arrived.

Blouse: Bodyline
Shoes:An*Tai*Na
Petticoat: Bunny House
Accessories: TaoBao, offbrand

The print is ever as wonderful as I imagined. The dress is adorned with high quality lace and little pink bows! Oh, and it has two pockets! Pockets! =^.^= The plushy animals are cute, and white, pink, sax, even lavender and red shades are included, which should make it easy to coord.

Since I wasn't able to get a matching headbow, I'll still keep looking for it. I think also a cute fluffy bear ears could be nice to match the plushy animals on the print!

Inspirations: Milkyfawn

Tumblr             *deleted, a few reblogs*

Milkyfawn alias Alanah May from Sydney, likes sweets, chocolate, and Rilakkuma. Her outfits scheme was mostly pink, brown and beige. She had a bit of a hoarding problem with lolita but managed to solve it by selling half her wardrobe. She hurriedly left lolita at the end of 2014 (aged 22) to instead pursue otome fashion.

I love her style and her blog in general. I think she's everything a lolita could aspire to be. My friend Yuki was lucky enough to know Milkyfawn when she was still a lolita and made an interview with her!

She blogged about events, holiday, unboxing, purchases, meets, food, her youtube video links. Just your average lot, but she is such a darling and has such a distinct style! My favorite blog posts of hers are her room tour, wardrobe post from 2014, her makeup and skincare, 30 day lolita challenge and people who inspire her lolita style! She also did a magazine interview, compared Sheep garden real to replica dress and wrote a guide on how to order from Angelic Pretty using Tenso :) I also loved her Scavenger hunt ideas!

Milkyfawn also starred in a couple of Deerstalker Picture videos. They did really funny The Secret Life of Lolita - part 1, part 2, part 3 and Bloopers, Mean Lolitas (and its behind the scenes). Milkyfawn taped her AP Melty Ribbon Chocolate unboxing and AP Loyal Rosette unboxing, told us how to pose in lolita and made a circle lens tutorial. She brought us to her room, played Cards Against Lolitas, and addressed her hoarding problems.

I really miss reading her blog. Do you?

Innocent World's Bouquet Doll OP

Innocent World's Bouquet Doll OP in beige x black is certainly very classical piece and not at all a sweet lolita substyle. Although the dress is cotton, the removable princess sleeves are from a chiffon-like, wrinkle free material. All the lace is soft and high quality Innocent World is famous for.

OTKs: TaoBao
Shoes: Bodyline

Detail on the princess sleeves. In the end I decided not to use the wristcuffs
or pearl bracelets, as they looked so out of place with princess sleeves.
